Speeds
Advertised speeds are maximums over a wired connection. Wi-Fi speeds are typically lower and depend on router placement, device capability, and interference. NovaNet guarantees at least 80% of the advertised download speed over a wired connection; sustained speeds below this threshold qualify for free technical support escalation.
Equipment
- Router rental: $10/month for the NovaNet Wi-Fi 6 router.
- Customer-owned equipment: Customers may use their own compatible router or modem at no charge. A compatibility list is available at novanet.example/compatible.
- Router purchase: The NovaNet Wi-Fi 6 router can be purchased outright for $180.
Contracts
- Month-to-month: All plans are available month-to-month at the listed price with no commitment.
- 12-month contract: A $5/month discount applies with a 12-month contract. Early termination of a 12-month contract incurs a $120 early termination fee (see Cancellation Policy).
Plan Changes
Customers can upgrade their plan at any time; upgrades take effect immediately and the difference is prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. There is no fee for changing plans.
Business Plans
NovaNet Business plans (static IPs, SLA-backed uptime) are handled by the Business Sales team at business@novanet.example. Residential support does not have access to business plan pricing.
